The interpretation had to complement the restored rail tractor and log bogie placed on the site that once hauled the precious silver pine out of the surrounding forests to be turned into fence posts, telegraph poles and railway sleepers. Two panels share the stories through script and visuals and are set into sawn off logs on the back of the log bogie. An enlarged image of the Black brothers driving this rail tractor is set behind it, printed onto clear acrylic. This provides a frosted effect with light and views into the bush. A connection is made to the men who are introduced in the interpretive narratives revealing the hard work they undertook to get the silver pine out.
