Objective:
To provide an introductory overview of the history and significance of the Round Hill Goldmining area in the Longwoods, Southland. The panel had to set the scene for the loop track walk which passes a number of linked historical remains to be later interpreted en route.

Process:
Research and writing for one on-site interpretation panel in liaison with the Te Araroa Trust, DOC Southland Conservancy and a Chinese representative.

One on-site interpretation panel.
